I was blessed to go to Passion again this year. The first time I went, I was taken aback at how much of a jump up the whole experience was. This year however, I knew what to expect and I was so looking forward to it.
We were a little late when we walked into The Georgia Dome for the first time, but when we did finally come in, the sight was breathtaking. We were in the top tier seating, and I could look out and see every single person there. I couldn’t believe how many people were there. Over 50,000 strong, all there for one reason: to worship and get closer to our amazing God.
This experience is one that I find helps me get closest to God. Whenever I see others giving their all and worshiping God, it draws me in closer. I feel bonded with everyone there.
I hope that whoever reads this will be compelled to attend this amazing event. It is an experience that I take home with me, and don’t just leave in the Dome. I listen to the words that the teachers speak to me, I feel the worship. I feel God wrap himself around me and move in me in ways I could have never imagined. Our God truly is an amazing God.
